At Character to Destiny, our theology is rooted in the simple, powerful truths of the first-century church. We believe that spiritual maturity is not measured by what we know, but by how much of Christ’s character is visible in our lives.
We believe the ultimate destiny of the Church is to reflect the character of Jesus. (See Romans 8:28-29) This is the "pure and spotless bride" described in Ephesians 5:27. We believe that while gifts may open doors, it is character that sustains a life of holiness. We emphasize first-century church principles—purity, holiness, and being led by the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Scriptures: We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. It is our final authority for faith, conduct, and the revelation of God’s nature.
The Triune God: We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Finished Work of Christ: We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. Through His sinless life, sacrificial death on the cross, and bodily resurrection, He provided the only way for the redemption of humanity.
The Holy Spirit: We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit. He indwells every believer, providing the power to live a holy life, the gifts to serve the Body of Christ, and the guidance to walk in truth.
Ultimately our purpose is to make disciples, not followers. A follower watches from a distance, but a disciple is a student of the Master’s character. We seek to equip believers to walk as Jesus walked, carrying His authority and heart into their own spheres of influence. We believe that it is a command for all disciples to:
“...go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
God Himself is the headship of the Body of Christ. We are simply stewards and servants. Every leader within this ministry is submitted to His sovereign authority and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
We are not here to build a name for a person or a ministry. Our singular aim is to make Jesus famous. We decrease so that He may increase, ensuring that all glory, honor, and attention are directed toward the King of Kings.
The Goal of Transformation: We believe God’s primary purpose is to conform us to the image of His Son (Romans 8:29). Salvation is the beginning of a journey where our old nature is exchanged for the nature of Christ.
Character as a Prophecy: We believe that your character is the "anchor leg" of your spiritual race. While gifts and talents may open doors, it is godly character that sustains your influence and fulfills your divine destiny.
The Triune Nature of Man: We believe that man is a spirit, has a soul (mind, will, and emotions), and lives in a body. True maturity involves bringing the soul and body into alignment with a spirit led by the Holy Spirit.
Pure and Simple Devotion: We move away from the "leaven" of legalism and religious performance, focusing instead on a sincere, heart-led relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Great Commandment & Commission: We believe our highest calling is to love God with all our heart and to love our neighbors as ourselves, making disciples who reflect the light of Jesus to the world.
Back to Basics: We emphasize first-century church principles—purity, holiness, and being led by the Holy Spirit.
An imperfect man surrendered to a Perfect Savior. Tony’s life changed forever at the age of 19 when he was pulled from the shadows of life and thrust into the "marvelous light" of the Gospel. Coming to Christ with no religious baggage or preconceived doctrines, Tony began with the Bible and the Holy Spirit as his guides. This raw, unfiltered devotion led him into an immediate, powerful walk with the Spirit. Shaped by the direct mentorship of world-renowned spiritual leaders, Tony has transitioned from a student of the Word to a seasoned vessel for it. After serving the Lord for more than 30 years, Tony began Character to Destiny’s online teaching ministry in response to the pandemic and serves as Overseer and Teacher. Following his official ordination in 2025, he continues to walk in obedience, dedicating his life to sharing biblical truths in clarity and power that have transformed his own life.
Many people find their way to Character to Destiny when they’ve cried out to the Lord in desperation, seeking His help and truth. Through observation we have discovered that the Lord is sending the lost, lonely, and broken; the widows and orphans. The Lord is healing His bride by restoring lost or forgotten identity and through His healing power. The broken are being transformed and in turn, the overflow of His great love and mercy begins to heal others.
