Community Seeds for Needs

1. Submit a Request
Complete the Community Seeds for Needs form and tell us briefly about the need.

2. We Review It
Leadership will review the request and, when appropriate, bring it to the Board for approval to be shared with the community.

3. Create Your Fundraiser
If the request is approved, you or someone you trust will create and manage your own GoFundMe.

4. We Share It
Character to Destiny may share the GoFundMe in the "Community Seeds for Needs" chat. Giving is always voluntary, and the ministry does not receive or manage the funds.

Community Seeds for Needs is intended for significant or unexpected financial needs, such as:

• Medical or dental expenses

• Housing or utility emergencies

• Essential vehicle repairs

• Funeral or family crisis expenses

• Unexpected job or income loss

• Other serious financial hardships

Each request is considered individually. Submitting a request does not guarantee that it will be approved or shared with the community. 

• Character to Destiny does not provide, collect, or manage funds for Community Seeds for Needs.

• If a request is approved, the member or someone they trust is responsible for creating and managing the GoFundMe.

• Approval means the Board has approved the request to be shared with our community. It does not mean the ministry is financially responsible for the need.

• Giving is always voluntary. No member should ever feel pressured or obligated to give.

• The fundraiser may also be shared outside the Character to Destiny community.

You control the personal information included in your GoFundMe. Character to Destiny will only share your fundraiser after receiving your permission to do so.
