Frequently Asked Questions

Will food be provided?

Yes! The hotel provides a continental breakfast. We will provide lunch and dinner with snacks/drinks available all day long. *Menu will be available for review.

Will child care be provided?

While we love your little ones, please note that childcare will not be provided for this event. In the past, some parents have found it necessary to bring their children along; if you choose to do so, we kindly ask that you remain responsible for their supervision to ensure a respectful and focused environment for all attendees.

Is there a block of rooms reserved for the event?

Yes. The name of our block is "Back to Basics Retreat 2026". Dates are 5/1-4/2025. Rooms per night: Two Queen Beds ($100 + taxes). King Bed ($100 + taxes) & King Suite ($110.00 + taxes). Cut Off Date is 4/1/2025 for these rooms/rates. Call the Hotel to reserve @ 515-285-0654.

Is there a shuttle from the airport to the hotel?

Yes. When making a reservation make sure to ask how the shuttle system works and add the phone number to your contacts!

Is there free parking?

Yes, there is plenty of free parking at the hotel.

Yes, wi-fi is included as part of your hotel stay.

When should I get there? What is the schedule of events?

Check in to the hotel will begin on Thursday (4/30/26.) We will have an informal gathering and dinner in the conference room that evening. We will have a full day of interactions on Friday and Saturday and Sunday morning. Water baptism will occur on Saturday afternoon or Sunday evening. A detailed schedule of events will be avialble for download prior to the event..
